Grade LE – Linen Phenolic for Machining Excellent Products

Brogan & Patrick Mfg. have been machining and supplying various LE components for over 30 years.  Our machinists as well as operator know the issues that come with machining LE phenolic.

LE is a fine weave cotton fabric base phenolic laminate which provides a finer surface texture.  It machines well, but needs to be accurately setup with close attention to detail.  It machines better than some other phenolics, but it is still can be a tricky material to work with.

Our machinists have been working with LE and other phenolics for over 30 years, so they understand the nuances that come along with machining LE.

Grade has excellent electrical properties and can be used for terminal boards, plates and insulator boards. It can be machined cleanly to very close tolerances such as +/-.001 where needed.   LE had good mechanical properties with excellent electrical properties.
